CELOCOR® opaque polymers are highly efficient, voided latex products that improve hiding and whiteness in paints and coatings, and function as a partial replacement for titanium dioxide (TiO2). With the introduction of CELOCOR® AF opaque polymer you have even more choice, with a new product that offers important benefits.

Performance evaluations

Interior flat contractor paint based on ENCOR® 282 latex (VAE)

CELOCOR® AF displays excellent hiding in VAE-based interior flat paints

  • Results indicate the TiO2 level could be reduced by an additional 10-12%, while still maintaining equivalent Tint Strength as the control

  • Contrast ratio improves with the addition of CELOCOR® AF

  • Equivalent gloss development is achieved when adding CELOCOR® AF compared to a control
  • Adding CELOCOR® AF had no adverse effects on SNAP® 720's outstanding block resistance
